In this webinar Dr. Charles Maupin will discuss disruptive technology to simplify endodontics, with a focus on YSSG Lasers.
The field of endodontics has seen new advances such as laser enhanced irrigation. The YSGG laser creates an interaction with the irrigants sending microfluidic shock waves throughout the root canal system.
This allows the clinician to clean and disinfect the root canal system three dimensionally. Treatment can be accomplished in less time and with a more conservative approach than traditional positive pressure needle irrigation allows.
Dr. Charles Maupin will compare of past, present and future irrigation techniques and strategies. Focus will be on the YSGG laser, sharing cases and a procedural flow to simplify your endodontic treatment.
- Discuss positive pressure irrigation
- Discuss the mechanism of action of the YSGG laser
- Discuss root canal anatomy and why it must be treated three dimensionally
- Discuss the importance of conservative endodontic treatment
